Police: Car Hits Hayride Trailer With No Lights

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) – An unplanned surprise happened during a hayride Saturday on Groometown Road.
A group of about 15-20 members of Southern Guilford Middle School's cheerleading and football teams were riding on a tractor-pulled trailer without lights.
According to state police, a car topped a hill, hit the trailer then spun into the path of a pickup truck.
Five children were taken to a nearby hospital as a safety precaution, but the highway patrol tells FOX8 News no one was seriously hurt.
